Founding Spirit
Strength, Virtue, Sincerity
The predecessor to Gifu Pharmaceutical University-Gifu Pharmaceutical Technical School-was founded in 1932 with the founding spirit of strength, virtue, and sincerity.
This founding spirit has been preserved since then for 90 years of our School's history. The School has continued to conduct pharmaceutical education and research to this day.
Basic University Philosophy
Green Pharmacy: Pharmaceutical studies that are friendly to people and the environment and that provides safety and security.
The founding spirit--strength, virtue, sincerity--of Gifu Pharmaceutical University, inspired the University to adopt a human- and environment-friendly pharmacy (Green Pharmacy) as its basic philosophy.
In addition to adhering to the basic philosophy for all university operations, we have established policies for each of our activities, including education, research, and community contributions.
